The Beginning

I've spent the last 30 years working on the industrial side of the "environment". The places where hazardous wastes were generated, where wastewaters were discharged, where air contaminants were emitted and where soil and groundwater was contaminated.

I’m not the traditional “environmentalist”, I worked those 30 years from the “inside”, on the ground, day to day, helping minimize or prevent environmental impacts rather than being one of those clueless whiners outside the fenceline, unaccountable for anything, coughing up a lot of screwball rhetoric with no meaningful solutions to environmental issues to make any difference to anyone, anywhere, ever. They only serve as shining examples for those who feel they have nothing to offer in this world.

There, I'm feeling better already.

When I finally leave my environmental career behind, I too will join the ranks of the clueless whiners outside the fence line .........
